The theory is a learning procedure that involves the pairing with a stimulus with a
conditioned response, for example; Ivan Pavlov used a dogs as experiments through and
discovered that salivation was chosen because an efficient and highly practical method of
measuring salivation using a permanently implanted fistula had just been developed in the
laboratory (Pavlov 1951) . The Ivan Pavlov’s classical conditioning theory can be defined as an
assumption that can be learnt through interactions with the environment because the environment
that a person can be surrounded with can shape their behaviour through different things like their
attitudes or emotions. This essay will discuss the Ivan Pavlov’s classical conditioning learning
theory and its implications in an organization.
The theory consists of elements such as the Unconditioned stimulus, Unconditioned
response, Conditioned stimulus and Conditioned response; these are the elements that enable
transpiring a response from one person to the previous person.
