Below points discussed and recorded
a) All packets of blood and blood components needs to be checked before
administering thoroughly and should match with the order
b) Patient education regarding the blood transfusion and other issues to be
optimal while educating them
c) All reactions to be recorded and should report to the Medical Director
within stipulated time
d) Coordinate with blood bank in case of emergency transfusion
e) All planned surgeries should anticipate blood transfusion so that we can
avoid rush in last minute
f) No transfusion reaction for the month of May 2022 out of 1 transfusions
g) All other safety related issues need to be followed for all cases without
fail
h) Meeting concluded by 15:45 on 5th June 2022
