JIONGCO AGENDA • Narrative Report: On-The-Job Training • Problem Encountered • Recommendation • Conclusion NARRATIVE REPORT: ON-THE-JOB TRAINING • OJT will help to explore the relationship between the knowledge and skills acquired in college with those required in working situations. • OJT achieves relevant knowledge and skills through the actual experience in working in the field of their profession. • It help us a lot in our future job to apply all the knowledge and ideas that we experience during the OJT like on how to deal with other people. PROBLEM ENCOUNTERED • Limited plantilla (permanent) positions • Low motivation • Lack of appreciation RECOMMENDATIONS • Re-Organization would be the recommendable. • Consider the balance and imbalance that currently exists between the employees inputs and outputs. • Recognized employees to feel valued of their work. CONCLUSIONS • The trainee can practice applying the lessons learned from the years of formal education and discovers that there still a lot more to learn from the actual working field. • OJT server as a source of manpower for enterprise by having the privilege of hiring students that are fresh-minded, intellectually, updated, goal oriented and are not yet expecting high salaries. • On-The-Job Training best exposing students to potential employees and possibility of being hired depending on the needs of company and in terms of trainees’ performance as well.
