Narrative Report on Remedial Reading during Pandemic Grade 2 Even before pandemic, We at Panasahan Elementary School already conducting remedial reading in order to uplift the reading effectiveness of the student. But now, during this pandemic it is a tough challenge for us to continue the remedial reading without defying the health protocols given by the Department of Health and also without endangering our teaching force as well as our students. In pursuing to enhance the reading of the pupils the teaching force of Panasahan Elementary School derive a strategy to seek for the help of the parents to convey the reading materials to the students. Such assistance from our beloved parents is a big help to achieve our objective to continuously enhancing the pupil’s reading comprehension. Having a constant communication and a fruitful conversation with the parents makes the remedial reading easier to implement. Especially using a blended learning modality which also tough for the students and their parents because most of the students don’t have a steady internet access. Despite of the hindrance the teaching force and the parents work hand in hand to be able strengthen them in the development of skills in reading which will make them productive and empowered individual.
