Final Exam Procedure For this test you will need a pen/pencil, 3-5 blank pieces of paper, a TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator, a phone or tablet for joining the Zoom, and a desktop or laptop computer for Canvas. Using your phone or tablet or even possibly another laptop with a webcam, join the Zoom meeting on the day of your final exam using the link I will provide you that day. Try to be in the zoom room 30-40 minutes before the start time. If you plan to use your mobile device, you may need to download “ZOOM’ app. Set-up you phone so that I will be able to see your workspace and computer screen and as much of you as possible. Many students set their phone off to the side on their desk, on a stool, or on a table or counter next to them. When entering the zoom meeting, I will ask each of you to show me a 360 view of your space. I’m not judging what your room looks like, I just need to make sure you are the only one in the room and you don’t have cheat sheets ups on the walls, etc. After everyone is checked in, I will publish the exam at the start of your exam time. You must stay in the Zoom meeting the entire time. For instance, you can’t join the Zoom meeting and then try to sneak out of the meeting to complete your test un-proctored. That it considered cheating and will be handled as such. If you are having internet issues, let me know ahead of time. You must have your microphone on the entire time. You may want to put the ‘Speaker Volume’ down to be able to focus on your test but once again you have to be ‘unmuted’ on the entire testing. Be sure to have your phone fully charged or plugged in. You don’t want it dying in the middle of the test because I will submit a zero for you. You will have 120 minutes to complete the test. You will write your work and answers on your paper.
