(Look for the definitions of the highlighted words in the questions.) 1. common good - the benefit or interests of all. 2. subsidiarity - the principle that decisions should always be taken at the lowest possible level or closest to where they will have their effect, for example in a local area rather than the whole country 3. solidarity - mutual support within a group. 4. inclusive growth - eeconomic growth that creates employment opportunities and helps in reducing poverty. It means having access to essential services in health and education by the poor. It includes providing equality of opportunity, empowering people through education and skill development.. 5. stable economy - absence of excessive fluctuations in the macroeconomy. An economy with fairly constant output growth and low and stable inflation would be considered economically stable. civil society - society considered as a community of citizens linked by common interests and collective activity. Media - the main means of mass communication (broadcasting, publishing, and the Internet) regarded collectively church - A group of Christians (see also Christian); church is a biblical word for “assembly.” sustainable development - economic development that is conducted without depletion of natural resources. Society is STRONG when it’s CITIZENS are RESPONSIBLE! Responsible citizenship = participation in activities Promoting common good What are essential to community life? Programs where the weak and poor are given support and Assistance. 9. A safe and peaceful society
