The heart of our anti-skimming solution is the CPK. The Card Protection Kit is a device that resists
skimming attacks in conjunction with the motorized and DIP card reader. Whether criminals use skim
devices in conjunction with the card reader, falls fronts or when the skim device is connected to the prehead of the card reader, the CPK will always create an electromagnetic protection field in the vicinity of
the card entry slot. This protection field makes it impossible to read data and that’s what it’s all about.
The CPK can be installed in all types of ATMs and the ATM will stay in service before, during and after the
attack. CPK is the ultimate protection against analogue and digital skimming attacks.

Skimming criminals use a variety of materials to design skimming devices. It is essential to detect these
types of material to prevent successfully against skimming. The Surface Detection Kit is a high-end device
that detects everything that’s attached on or over the front of an ATM or SST. From plastics to wood,
metals and all kind of skim devices. The SDK will give an alarm instantly. The technology of the SDK
is based on algorithms and it calibrates non-stop. The SDK comes with different possibilities types of
alarms, dry contact and USB. The SDK offers the only silent alarm worldwide and is, together with the
CPK+, a proven long term protection against skimming attacks. For motorized ATMs the SDK is only an
information feature and not a protection feature.

The CPK+ Model 1 prevents skimming attacks successfully in conjunction with the MCRW of the ATM / SST.
It will also defeat skimming attacks with false fronts
which work in conjunction with the motorized card
reader of the ATM/SST.
In addition to Model 1, the CPK+ Model 2 includes a
Surface Detection Kit (SDK) and distinguishes different
kinds of materials (e.g. plastic, paper, iron, wood).
The CPK+ Model 3 has been specially developed for
non-motorized (DIP) card readers to protect ATMs and
SSTs against skimmers which have been placed over
the bezel of the DIP reader. Like Model 2, the CPK+
Model 3 includes a Surface Detection Kit (SDK).
The CPK+ Model 4 (M) has been developed to protect
against false-front fraud attacks. It prevents the use
of all types of skimming devices that are placed over
the card entry slot and covers the entire fascia of the
ATM/SST.
It will also defeat skimmer attacks with false fronts
which work in conjunction with the DIP reader of the
ATM/SST.
How does it work?
The CPK+ Model 4 (M) has the same functionalities
as CPK+ Model 2. In addition it has two transmitters,
which, together, create a protective shield of approximately 20cm, disabling the skimming device.
How does it work?
The CPK+ creates a protective shield around the card
entry slot by emitting a signal. The signal disrupts the
skimmer so it will be unable to compromise the data
of the magnetic strip.
The transmitter will be in stand-by mode during the
reading process of the motorized card reader.

How does it work?
The CPK+ Model 2 works in two stages. Firstly, the
CPK+ creates a protection shield round the card entry
slot. Secondly, it sends a silent alarm to the ATM/SST
owner as soon as the SDK registers any criminal activity in progress.

How does it work?
As soon as the Surface Detection Kit detects a
skimming device, it activates the transmitter.
The transmitter is always in stand-by mode. It is
only activated during a skimming attack and will
automatically return to the stand-by mode when
criminals remove the skimming equipment.
Although the ATM/SST will stay in operation during
the attack, the reader will be unable to carry out any
transactions.
The Surface Detection Kit (SDK) detects any foreign
device that is placed over the card entry slot and
detects any false fronts.

The CPK+ Model 4 (D) has been developed for nonmotorized (DIP) card readers to defend against false
front-fraud attacks. Model 4 (D) protects against skimmers placed over the bezel of the ATM / SST.
Self service terminals
The CPK+ Model 5 has been developed for duo SSTs
that contain two DIP / motorized card readers in a
single terminal.
It defends against skimming devices that are placed
over the card entry slot of the SST and works in
conjunction with the DIP card readers.
How does it work?
This model works in the same way as Model 3, but
in addition, it also protects against skimming attacks
with false fronts that can capture data without working in conjunction with any functionality of the ATM/
SST. In a strategic place in the ATM / SST, a second
SDK sensor has been mounted to detect false fronts
only.

How does it work?
If one or both of the SDK sensors detect a skimming
device, the transmitter(s) is/are switched on. A
constant signal is emitted which disrupts the skimmer.
It also disables the reading process of the SST, if
equipped with a DIP reader, during the attack but the
SST is not shut down. This model contains one CPK+,
two SDK sensors and two transmitters which operate
independently of each other.
