DESCRIPTION
The Rauland Model ACC1110 Backbox is a round
recessed enclosure for quick labor saving wall or ceiling installation in new construction. The design provides a plaster flange. Mounting nuts are easily
accessible in drop ceilings and are protected from
the plaster and concrete in poured and plastered
ceilings. Construction is all-steel welded 22-gauge
metal. Exterior is rustproof coated; interior is heavily
undercoated to prevent metallic resonance.
Knockouts are spaced at 90°. Mounting ring has 1/8"
holes for nailing or wiring in place. Tinnerman clips
are provided.

SPECIFICATIONS
The Backbox shall be a Rauland ACC1110 or
approved equal recessed round enclosure for 8”
speaker/baffle assemblies. It shall be made of 22-gauge
welded steel with a rust-inhibiting coating, and
undercoated with a fire-retardant resonance damping material. Knockouts shall be spaced at 90°. The
mounting ring shall provide 1/8" holes for nailing
or wiring in place. Tinnerman clips shall be provided. The backbox shall be suited for mounting in
poured or plaster ceilings, as well as in conventional drop ceilings.
DESCRIPTION
The Rauland Model ACC1117 is a protective enclosure designed for convenient recessed installation of
the Rauland 3607 horn with ACC1014 vandal-proof
baffle. The backbox is fabricated of heavy-gauge
cold-rolled steel, welded for exceptional stability.
Interior surfaces are undercoated to prevent acoustical and mechanical resonances. The enclosure is finished with a white powdered epoxy. Four 1/2" (1.27
cm) and 3/4" (1.91 cm) conduit knockouts are provided as well as Tinnerman clips at each corner.

SPECIFICATIONS
The Backbox shall be a Rauland Model ACC1117 or
approved equal recessed enclosure designed for the
Rauland 3607 horn and ACC1014 vandal-proof baffle. The backbox shall be constructed of heavygauge cold-rolled steel and shall be spot-welded for
complete stability, with a white powdered epoxy
finish, and an interior specially undercoated to prevent acoustical resonance. Four 1/2" (1.27 cm) and
3/4" (1.91 cm) conduit knockouts and Tinnerman
corner clips shall be provided. The backbox shall
not exceed 10 3/4" (27.31 cm) x 10 3/4" (27.31 cm) x
6" (15.24 cm) deep.
