DESCRIPTION
The Rauland ACC1114 Backbox is a slanted surface-mounting enclosure designed for wall installation. It is constructed of a single piece of .060” coldrolled steel folded and welded for maximum protection against vandalism. The thickness and rigidity
of the steel construction eliminates the need for
internal damping. The finish is durable white
epoxy. The backbox measures 11.625” (29.52 cm)
square and slants from 5.25” (13.34 cm) deep at the
top to 2.75” (6.99 cm) deep at the bottom. It will
accommodate 8” speaker/baffle assemblies using
Rauland ACC1003 or ACC1012 Baffles. Four baffle
mounting fasteners are provided.

The Backbox shall be a Rauland ACC1114 or
approved equal surface wall mounting enclosure
designed to accommodate 8” speaker/baffle
(ACC1003 or ACC1012 baffles) assemblies. It shall
be constructed of a single piece of .060” cold-rolled
steel folded and welded for maximum protection
against vandalism. The thickness and rigidity of
the steel construction shall eliminate the need for
damping. The finish shall be white epoxy. The
backbox shall measure no larger than 11.625”
(29.52 cm) square and slant from 5.25” (13.34 cm)
deep at the top to 2.75” (6.99 cm) deep at the bottom. Four baffle mounting fasteners shall be provided.

mounting enclosure designed for easy wall installation in new or existing construction. It is fabricated
of a single piece of .060” cold-rolled steel folded and
welded for maximum protection from vandalism.
The finish is a durable baked white epoxy over
heavy zinc primer. The backbox, measuring 8-1/2”
(21.59 cm) wide, 6-5/8” (16.83 cm) high by 2-1/2”
(6.35 cm) deep accommodates the Rauland HSS1,
HSS2, HSS14 and HSS7 Security Intercom
Stations.
