Information support: - collection and processing all necessary data about accident from different information sources (response initiator, source term database, meteorological provider etc.); - using GIS to show accident object, place and around area, dose-rates and contaminated data (if we have), dislocations our field emergency team units and other important information; - creating situation reports for ERC emergency management. 2. Analytical support: - assess of emergency situation: define areas can be contaminated, estimate possible doserates and doses for the public, levels of contamination by special software codes and prepared models of event; - collaboration together with group of experts for create recommendations about necessary protection action in form of report for ERC emergency management. www.rosatom.ru 4 Nuclear-Powered Icebreakers in Gulf of Finland Short guidance for first responders (emergency card) www.rosatom.ru 5 Four Russian Harbors in Eastern Part of Gulf of Finland www.rosatom.ru 6 Potential Accident Place www.rosatom.ru 7 Technological scenario failure of the primary cooling circuit pipe work LOCA, overheating and melting of nuclear fuel inside the reactor core primary and secondary containment remain intact release into the atmosphere small fraction of the fission products www.rosatom.ru 8 Source Term www.rosatom.ru 9 Meteorological Parameters Inversion meteorological conditions, characterised by stability category F and a conservative wind speed of 1 m/s, which associated with smallest dispersion radioactive material in the horizontal direction and are associated with the highest radiological effects, which potentially can get a person in the cloud www.rosatom.ru 10 Models for assessment of accident consequences RIMPUFF – near range atmospheric dispersion model which takes into account influence terrain roughness www.rosatom.ru 11 Russian Intervention Levels www.rosatom.ru 12 Results www.rosatom.ru 13 Results www.rosatom.ru 14 Thank you for your attention! www.rosatom.ru 15
