JOHNSON SCHOOL
Happy Monday! I hope you had a relaxing weekend.
On Tuesday, students will take the district test in math to measure
student growth since the beginning of third grade. The test will be taken on
the computer. Please encourage your child to get a good night’s sleep, eat
breakfast, and arrive to school on time. Also encourage your child to do
his/her best work. After winter break, students will take district tests in
reading and math fluency. Therefore, continued practice of both at home is
necessary.
Our winter party is Friday at 2:30. Parents who wish to help with set up
will be able to come up to the classroom at 2:15. We would appreciate any help.
If you would like to participate, please complete and return the slip at the bottom
of the newsletter if you haven’t already. Please let me know if you are interested
in organizing the party. Thank you in advance. Your help will make our party a
success!
