HOMEWORK IS DUE FRIDAY!
Ms. Back, 3 rd Grade
October 19 , 201 5
Dear Parents and Students,
Happy Monday! I hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend.
The second night of parent teacher conferences is on Tuesday, October
20. A blue conference invitation/reminder sheet was sent home in the planner.
Thanks to those who volunteered to support our class Halloween
party. These parents will receive a note this week regarding our classroom party
information such as snacks and activities. Also, all students will receive a note
from the office regarding costume and parade information. I will send it home as
soon as it becomes available.
We have completed addition and subtraction. Therefore, we will spend
the rest of the trimester studying concepts related to multiplication and
division. This week students will bring home an addition and subtraction packet
they started in class. This packet may be completed at home and used for extra
practice
y to help students become independent and/or maintain their skills.
Include this practice on the math log. If your child has not yet mastered the skill
independently, he/she will have the opportunity for reassessment at the end of
the trimester.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and have a great week!
Sincerely,
Ms. Back
