SAFETY RULES
Physical Activity Racquetball Classes
1. Proper warm-up should occur before each class.
2. Protective eye guards are mandatory and to be worn during play.
3. Know where the ball is and your opponent is at all times.
4. Proper clothing is required. Extremely loose clothing is not permissible.
5. Proper fitting tennis shoes with a non-marking sole is requested.
6. Keep out of your opponent's or partner's way while playing.
7. Players should hold up their swing if they believe there is a risk of hitting another person.
8. All players are expected to abide by all the rules of the game.
9. Wrist straps on the racket must be used at all times.
10. Make sure the door to the court is completely shut.
11. Keep all excess clothes, purses, ball cans, and racket covers outside the playing court.
12. Do not turn completely around during play to see what is behind you.
13. Desperation shots that result in hitting the wall with the body or diving for a ball should be avoided.
14. Do not play if you are ill or injured.
15. Do not leave the court area without first notifying the instructor.
