Dear Parents,
Needless to say this has been an interesting 2016! The
students are adjusting beautifully to all the changes due to
weather and schedules.
I am excited to announce that we have a new student
joining us today. His name is Sean Callahan. This makes a total
of 20 students for our class consisting of 12 boys and 8 girls.
Please add him to your child’s Valentine’s Day list. I am
attaching a list again for those who did not see the first one I
sent home. They can make a bag or box at home and bring it
into school on Friday, Feb. 12 or they can make a bag here in
class.
In math we are finishing our unit on Geometry then we
will begin fractions. In Social Studies, we are learning about
Mali then Greece then Rome!
Remember there is no school on Monday, Feb. 15 due to
President’s Day. Report cards will come home on Friday, Feb.
12. Please sign the bottom part and return only the slip with
your signature in the envelope provided.
