HC Technologies (“HCT”) is an algorithmic proprietary trading firm principally
located in Chicago that is growing at a rapid pace. We unite talented
individuals with innovative technology and robust risk management to identify
trading opportunities within the global marketplace. We are a premiere
trading firm that has diverse asset classes and varied investment approaches.
HCT primarily trades global derivatives, fixed income and foreign exchange.
Externs will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal issues related
to international financial regulatory requirements such as Mifid 2, EMIR and
Dodd-Frank.
Externs will also help with corporate governance and contract review
including bilateral OTC trading agreements and the corresponding credit
arrangements. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to many areas of
practice. Tasks will range from researching laws and their application to a
variety of legal matters, assisting with internal corporate matters and working
with the HCT global compliance team to draft policies and procedures based
on their regulatory research.
This opportunity is open to 2 and 3 L’s. Students with a background or interest
