Word opens to a new blank document by default
File-New gives you further choices from document template. Click on template and then on the Create button to the right.
office.com offers additional templates
Dialog box opener
expands the selection tasks within a group on the Ribbon
Hover mouse over a Style Sets to see the changes that would be made to your document, click to apply a Style Set.
INSERT: Adding Pages, Tables, Illustrations, Links, Header/Footer, Fancy Text, Links


Picture brings up a Picture Tools menu, crop, make minor adjustments to the photo.
Screenshot allows you to insert an entire window of an application or use “screen clipping” to insert a portion of a window.
NOTE: For screen clipping, it will only work on screen immediately behind the application.
PAGE LAYOUT: Setup page

Hover mouse over a Theme to see the changes that would be made to your document, click to apply a Theme.
Selection Pane appears on right to allow organization of shapes on a page.
