 A style is a set of formatting font
characteristics, such as font name, size, color,
paragraph alignment and spacing. Some styles

 Mail merge technique allows you to create a
document which combines repetitive text
elements with data drawn for an external data
document. To perform a mail merge, you’ll
need the following

1. Your letter completed in MS Word ( refer
sample)
2. Your Merge Files with header in MS Excel
(receipient lists)

Open sample letter – Job Offer Letter
Tab Menu select Start Mail Merge > Step by Step
Mail Merge Wizard
Open Job
Offer List.xls

Click OK


Select Insert Merge Field and
select the field you wish to insert
(in correct place). For example
<<Title>><<First Name>> .
Repeat the previous steps until
you have inserted all necessary
fields at the correct place

Inconsistent Font Type – cause by copy

For example some paragraph font Arial 11
and some paragraph font Times New Roman
