 First, think of a historic event
 Where is it?
 What was the event?
 Who was there?
 Why is it famous?
 When did it happen?
If you can’t think of
an answer, don’t
worry, we will be
covering it in our
homework!

 Who will you invite?
 What should they wear/take?
 The answers you have just taken note of are the main points of
your invitation.
 All you need to do now is change those bullet points in to text
format.
 For this, you will need a template. Try to write a rough invitation to
a birthday party using the template on the next slide
HOMEWORK
 Your homework is to research the event you have chosen.
 Find pictures, information, and other interesting things
 Print them out and bring them in.
