7.5 Balloting Groups for Sponsor ballots
All members of Balloting Groups established for Sponsor balloting of IEEE 802
drafts shall be individuals that meet the participation reqirements of the IEEE
Standards Association, unless otherwise requested by the Executive Committee and
approved by the Standards Activity Board.Invitation pools are maintained for each
WG or TAG to allow SA members to register their interest in voting on specific
documents to be balloted. A Balloting Group for a specific document is formed by
sending invitations to ballot to members of the relevant Invitation Pool(s). Generally,
invitations to ballot are sent only to the Invitation Pool for the WG or TAG that is
developing the draft concerned; however, in cases where the draft is of concern to
other LMSC groups, the Invitation Pools for those groups should be included in the
invitation to ballot.
