The act defines bullying as a gesture, electronic
communication, or a written, verbal, physical, or
sexual act that will:
 Harm a student physically or emotionally
 Damage a student’s property
 Place a student in fear of personal or property
damage
 Insult or demean a student or group of students
causing substantial school disruptions.
Possible Punishments for bullying range from warnings
to expulsion.
