The Sharon Byrne for City Council campaign is seeking interns with an
interest in politics, fundraising and grassroots organizing.
LOCATION:
Santa Barbara

TIME COMMITMENT:
Interns will be expected to work at 3-6 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interns will be active in the Westside and lower West Downtown area of
Santa Barbara to increase voter participation and grassroots movement for
electoral success in the 2015 City Council race. The primary responsibility
of interns is to organize and assist in voter turnout. Interns will learn
valuable event management, marketing, campaign, and organization skills in
this internship.
The internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the inner workings of
local campaigns, gaining valuable real-world experience in political
operations.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
-Candidates should be self-motivated, able to organize, and able to meet
deadlines.
-A good sense of humor will be key!
A strong interest in politics is very helpful.
