interns with an interest in politics, fundraising and grassroots organizing.

TIME COMMITMENT:
Interns will be expected to work at least 6-20 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interns of the Helene Schneider for Congress campaign will be active in the
communities of CA24 working to increase voter participation and grow
grassroots movement for electoral success in the 2016 Congressional race.
The primary responsibility of interns is to organize and assist in voter
mobilization infrastructure from the ground up.
The internship offers a unique opportunity to learn the inner workings of
local as well as national, politics and campaigns. Interns will also learn how
to leverage political action into electoral victories, gaining valuable realworld experience in political operations.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
-Candidates should have strong organizational skills, experience meeting
deadlines and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously.
-A good sense of humor and a strong interest in politics.
