Present: School Committee Members Arthur Grabowski, Jeanette Meredith, Corinne Riley, Vincent
Serino and Wendy Reed.
Ms. Reed called the meeting to order at 4:40 pm.
-Meeting schedule: The Committee will meet on March 19th at 3:15 pm.
March 19 meeting agenda items to include: District Improvement Plan & Superintendent Goals &
Objectives.
-Governor’s budget: The Governor has submitted his budget that reflects a $57,100 increase in Chapter 70
money. It still needs to go before the House & Senate.
-The Superintendent said we did not receive grant for counselors. It was cut. No update on school
resource officer grant.
Ms. Riley moved, Ms. Reed seconds it was voted to go into executive session to discuss contract
negotiations; non-union contract parameters; and pending litigation and litigation strategy, and not to
return to open session.
