Guidelines for Lesson Development
Required for ADE credit
The lessons developed for this project cannot
use a textbook as a component!
URLs change often. If you think that there is a chance that an Internet site used
may not be stable, copy and paste the information from the site to a Word
document.
All lessons must include:
1. Complete written plan using the proper format with all required
components!
2. At least three Active Engagement Strategies highlighted on plan.
3. All supporting materials in electronic format.
4. Student handouts with keys.
5. PowerPoint presentation following the required guidelines (attachment).
7. Graphic organizers / Vocabulary strategy handouts (if needed).
8. Enough content to fill a 50-minute class period.
Each unit must contain enough content to cover the
Standard / Measurement Criteria.
