Sustainable Egg Washer for
Small Scale Use

The goal of this project is design and build
an effective egg washer that is sustainable,
eco-friendly, efficient, and cost effective.
Key Features:
• Utilizes cavitation bubbles to clean and sanitize
the surface of egg shells.
• Automated design pushes eggs across a series
of cavitators while two rotating cylinders turn the
egg so the entire surface is cleaned.
Deliverables:
• Working egg washer prototype
• Inventor models of the prototype
• Data supporting the effectiveness of the washer
prototype
