How to play: Students are broken up into 2-3 teams (depending on class size). Students can see the game board and the categories, but not point values. Pick a team to go first. One representative for the team picks a number and letter. Using the second page, give him/her a verb. He/she must give the correct imperative form for whatever subject is listed. DU / SIE /IHR If the student gets the answer correct, uncover that box to reveal how many points his/her team gains (or loses). If he/she gets it wrong, don’t uncover the box – instead cross it out (this box can no longer be used). Continue this process with the next team. Make sure groups change representatives each round. Go through about five rounds. The randomized points help keep the game balanced – this way no team can get too far ahead or too far behind. sein haben nouns adjectives opposites opposites 1 A B C D E opposite of opposite of nett opposite of jung opposite of häβlich opposite of groβ quiet evil or angry schwach adjectives 2 sad happy loud nouns male friend female friend people man children you have he has we have you guys have I have we are they are you guys are he is you are 3 haben 4 sein 5
