SWITCHING MARRATECH ROOMS
INSTRUCTION SHEET
Visual Overview of the Marratech Interface
To enter T217 for the Welcome and Introductory Remarks
 Open Marratech
 Type http://emeeting.tech.oru.se:8000/index.jsp into your address bar on Marratech and hit
enter
 Then click on T217 to enter that room
 Be sure that your microphone is turned off (button on the lower right of the Marratech
interface) while you listen to the Introductory Remarks
To switch to your Small Group Room from T217
** Please be patient when switching. If you get a message that says, "Rooms Full" -- realize this is
NORMAL. Wait a few moments and try switching again. DO NOT Reboot Marratech.**
 Make sure that you click on the “world” tab at the bottom of the page if you are on the
whiteboard.
 Type http://switchboard.stanford.edu into the address bar at the top of marratech
 Click on the room with the same name as your group (i.e. Group A, click on the CCR A room)
 When Marratech asks you if you want to “Leave” your current room to go to the new one you
have selected, be sure to click “Yes.” DO NOT start a new marratech session if prompted –
this can cause larger problems with the interface.
 Save your whiteboard to your desktop if you have created a text there.

To switch from your Small Group Room back to T217 for Reporting Back to the Group
 Make sure that you click on the “world” tab at the bottom of the page if you are on the
whiteboard.
 Click the home icon on the top of the screen – If prompted to save your small group
whiteboard, save it to the desktop of your computer
 Type http://emeeting.tech.oru.se:8000/index.jsp into your address bar on Marratech and hit
enter
 then click on T217 to enter that room
