TUITION DEADLINE Fall tuition and fees are due in our office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 29, 2011. Payments received after that time are considered late and will be assessed a $100 late payment fee. Select “View & Pay My Bill” 1. Click the “eRefunds” tab 2. Click “Set up Account” and enter your routing and account numbers NOT SURE IF YOU NEED TO PAY? Be sure to check your account and balance on myWings regularly: 1. Log into myWings, student tab 2. Select “View & Pay My Bill” 3. Look at the “Current Balance Including Financial Aid” a. If the figure is positive?—you owe that amount by the deadline b. If the figure is negative—no payment due now HAVE FLORIDA PREPAID? The process is automatic; no need to show us your card. Florida Prepaid will show as estimated financial aid on ‘View & Pay My Bill’ and we invoice them after the drop/add period. Florida Prepaid does not pay all local fees, so be sure to check your account for any balance you may have. HAVE OTHER CHARGES? Federal financial aid cannot pay miscellaneous charges (such as orientation and late fees) unless you authorize us to do so. If you have charges and do not authorize, you need to pay them and your account will be placed on hold until they are paid. Your refund will also be delayed. Follow these steps to complete the authorization: 1. Log into myWings, student tab 2. Select “Student Self Service” 3. Select “Online Forms” 4. Select “Financial Aid Authorization” and follow the prompts OZZIE’$ TIP OF THE MONTH If you have a choice between subsidized and unsubsidized student loans, choose subsidized. This means the government is subsidizing the interest while you are in college. You are responsible for paying the interest on unsubsidized loans and can pay while you are in school or postpone until later. However, if you do not pay the interest while in school, you’ll be paying interest on the interest later. NEED MORE ASSISTANCE?
