Whereas, it is Ithaca College’s responsibility to provide an inclusive
community and opportunities to all students of different ethnic or religious
affiliations
Whereas, students should have religiously prescribed food available to them
Whereas, there is no satisfactory and permanent Hallal food option available
on campus to Muslim students
Whereas, this makes the observance of religious rules extremely difficult for
Muslim students
It is resolved that the Ithaca College Student Government Association
recommend that Ithaca College establishes a Hallal Food Station, or Hallal
Food available at a certain station in the Terraces Dining Hall.
