The SPAN-ET yields valuable data when used by trained individuals: an assessment of school resources and readiness to change the nutrition and physical activity environment; appropriate assessment-matched intervention strategies; and, through pre-post assessments, changes resulting from interventions focusing on the nutrition and/or physical activity. Applying a people and places framework grounded in the social ecological model, our SNAP-Ed people-level work plan will focus on positive changes in students and family attributes (knowledge, skills, dispositions, and behaviors) related to healthful eating and physical activity in the school environment. Log on to SOARS using ONID account and password http://extension.oregonstate.edu/employees/employee-resources/soars 2. Click on Plans of Work under Annual Reporting on the left menu 3. Click on “add a new plan of work” 4.
