Job Purpose:
The Network Operations Intern will work with a team of professional engineers for providing
advanced level 3 support for the product suite that Limelight offers to internal and external
customers.
Position is located in Tempe and scheduled Monday through Friday regular business hours during
the summer.
Essential Functions:



The position will interface with Limelight technicians and development engineers,
Implementation teams and Sales teams.
Knowledge of data networking, particularly experienced with caching, streaming,
BGP, Linux or UNIX administration and/or IP networks is desired.
Excellent customer service skills are a necessary component of the job.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education (minimums)

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or equivalent.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


An understanding of an Enterprise level Network Operations Center or production
support organization.
Experience and understanding of UNIX or Linux administration in an operations or
help-desk environment.
