- Emily will be this year’s election point person
New ASA Permanent Proxy Director, Dena Lane-Bonds
NAGPS Western Regional Conference – April 18-20, Seonmin Park
- Seonmin will look into budget to see what first year members can attend
Textbook Adoption Campaign and Graduate Student Survey, Jason Kordosky
- Presentation to ABOR on 2/5/14. Jason will share results.
- Recommendation to send notice to students with results
Constituency Meetings, Susan Lawhead
- Two meetings have already been scheduled in Flagstaff, and Yuma has scheduled meeting.
- Reps who haven’t set dates yet should contact Susan.

Parking permits, Joby Hunt and Jason Kordosky
- If anyone is interested in working with parking to inform them of grad student parking
grievances, they should let Jason know.
- Sean will look at parking survey and bring findings to committee

Representative Kirkpatrick round table event at NAU, Anthony Hessel
- Needs to be a bipartisan event; GSG will support the event
- Anthony will contact Kirkpatrick for dates.

- $7800 for 49 applications were allocated this month

- First Friday artwalk event on 2/7. Get emails out about artwalk.

Working with Relay for Life to make a GSG team. Amanda will go to RFL meeting tomorrow.
Event would be 4/5-4/6.
- Suggestion to do a Prochnow movie event night.
- Suggestion to support women’s basketball
- Suggestion to share spring concert information
- T-Shirts for GSG? Anthony Hessel will talk to contact about designing a shirt. Susan will look
into funding for shirts.
Strategic Planning and Budget Committee, Jason Kordosky
- Looking at nationally recognized initiatives
University Graduate Committee, Crystal Ewen
- New dean, new masters programs developing (incl. MA administration)

-Feb 17th census for number of rep positions; March 3rd open candidate search; March 10th workload
review for stipends; March 24th set stipends; March 31st to April 11th voting; April 21st transition meeting
- Emily needs to get enrollment information for 1st deadline.
- Check bylaws for rep #s rules & look at Flagstaff mountain campus students.
- Will look into reaching out to incoming graduate students

- Poli Sci is not accepting PhD students into 2 of the 3 program areas, due to lack of tenured
professors.
