Briefly describe the activity/strategy, providing enough detail so that a colleague can
replicate the activity/strategy.
1. Introduction Students were asked to complete an assignment that would allow
them to become more aware and organized in becoming a successful college
student.
2. Set-up & Supplies The course syllabus and the school handbook were given.
3. Directions The students were asked to review the syallbus as it was being read
and ask any questions they may have pertaining to the information. In addition
the students would write down assignments due in the school handbook and
discuss their strengthens and weaknesses in completing assignments.
What worked well? The students seemed to enjoy the interaction with others.
What would you change? I would include more information in the syllabus.
Would you use the activity/strategy again? Why or why not? Yes, I would use the activity
again because it would give students the opportunity to ask questions and or receive
information from others concerning assignments since some student's are shy.
Please describe any student learning and/or changes that you observed after the
implementation of the activity/strategy. I observed the students enjoying the activity.
