Participation Grade 25 points
Pay for the day grade:
A major goal of this class is to teach students how to conduct themselves in a work environment to ensure a
successful transition from school to work. Each day every student will receive a soft-skills (citizenship) grade based
on his/her work ethics demonstrated during the day. This grade will count 25 points per day. The following is a list
of possible infractions:







Tardy
Inappropriate language
Food/candy/trash
Talking/sleeping during the lecture
Disruptive or disrespectful behavior in class
Working on another subject
Cell phones will be taken to office
If you are absent the grade will only be excused if the absence is excused or parent contact. YOU MUST write on a
full size sheet of paper the date and reason you feel this grade should be excused.
