People credited with this unit standard are able to: interpret

setting machinery for operation; operate and monitor sammying
and/or setting machinery, and process bovine leather; describe

operations; describe processing stages preceding and following
bovine leather sammying and/or setting operations;
demonstrate team-work; and comply with company and
statutory health, safety, and environment requirements.

information and confirmed before processing commences.
