It is therefore strongly recommended that training for, and competency in, this unit standard be completed as early as possible by new entrants to the industry. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Identify common faults in corrugated board in the corrugated packaging industry. Evidence requirements 1.1 Faults in manufactured board are identified from photographs or samples. Range Competenz SSB Code 101571 faults may include – any forms of delamination including edge delamination, badly trimmed board and rough edges, any misalignments exceeding 1mm, visibly damaged board including fluff-outs, splices, washboarding.
