People credited with this unit standard are able to: prepare to
hand paint letters and graphics; hand paint letters and
graphics; and finish clean-up tasks.

Explanatory notes
1

requirements of industry codes of practice and documented enterprise procedures in
respect to health, safety, and environmental matters.

scale drawings, pounce.

Lettering is legible and complies with specifications.
2.3
Paint type selected is compatible with substrate.
2.4
Application of paint follows set out of lettering and graphics and provides even
coverage with minimum brush marks.
