Spanish 2 Review (Spanish 1) 9/8 through 9/12 Teacher: R.F.Kanzig Learning Activities: Target: Students will review vocabulary & grammar learned during Spanish 1. Students will review adjectives, words related to family, school and places. Also they will talk about moths of the year, seasons and celebration. Students will review the indicative tense, all regular –AR, -ER, & -IR verbs. Date Essential Question How do I use my knowledge of language and culture to enrich my community and broaden my opportunities? Objective I can describe people based on their emotions, conditions and physical features. I can name and tell the position of objects and furniture in a classroom or bedroom. I can recall the different rooms in a house. I can describe what a celebration looks like. Also name the different moths and seasons of the year. I can recall high frequency words and expressions to express my opinion. I can list the Teacher/student Monday 9/8/2014 Warm-up: Students will write down 5 adjectives and their synonyms and their antonyms. Guided Practice: Students will take the Spanish 1 Vocabulary Review Quiz. Closing: Students will categorize Spanish verbs. Tuesday 9/9/2014 Warm-up: Students will orally share 5 activities with their partner that they like to do, 5 activities they do not like to do, 5 activities they love to do, & 5 activities that they really dislike. Guided Practice: Students will review how to conjugate verbs in the indicative tense. Closing: High Frequency Words Review. Wednesday/Thursday 9/10-11/2014 Warm-up: Students complete indicative tense verb chart. Guided practice: Students will create visual verb charts (storyboard). Closing: Oral presentation of verb charts. Spanish subject pronouns. Friday 9/12/2014 Warm-up: Review for a quiz I can conjugate – AR, -ER, & -IR verbs in the indicative (present) tense. I can show the Spanish grammar structure by talking & writing in the target language through oral & written activities. Guided practice: 1. Quiz (indicative tense). 2. Cultural reading. Closing: Discussion related to the article.
