I can conjugate irregular and special verbs in preterit tense. Teacher/student Monday 10/13/2014 Warm-up: student will get the meaning in Spanish of the ir verbs written on the board. Guided Practice #1: Students will work on a review to take a chapter test on Tuesday. Closing: Students will ask grammar question to each other and solve them as a group. Tuesday 10/14/2014 I can describe sport events and talk about athlete/fans emotions based on what is happening during a competition. I can recall words of expressions to talk about art, music, sports. Warm-up: students will team up and discuss grammar topics before the test. Guided practice: Chapter test. Closing: Students who finish the test will get together and compare answers. I can describe how the weather conditions look like during the day. Wednesday/Thursday 10/15-16 / 2014 Warm-up: Eco camps reading. Guided practice #1. Teacher will read an article about Eco camps and student will work on their spelling skills. Guided practice #2. Students will translate the article to English. . Closing: matching activity related to the Eco camps article. Friday 10/17/2014 Warm-up: Students will compare the Eco camps article with their spelling assignment to fix any misspelling mistakes. Guided practice # 1. Teacher will read the Eco camps article in front of the class while students will translate it to English. Exit Ticket. A student will read his/her translation to the class.
