Staff Council Pride
The Department of Public Safety is pleased to announce that one of their own will be
representing the University of Houston staff and more specifically the staff of the
Department of Public Safety. Stephanie Carpenter has been working at the University of
Houston since October of 2008 as an Office Assistant with the Department of Public
Safety. She has always knows that she wanted to be in the higher education environment.
She is very involved in community events whether on campus or off. She is a strong
proponent of being a volunteer for an organization you believe in. She has worked
closely with RecycleMania, Green UH, Department of Public Safety related events and,
of course, Cougar First Impressions. Her enthusiasm makes her an outstanding
representative for the Department of Public Safety as a member of Staff Council.
