Long Time Member Heads for Retirement
Longtime employee and staff council member Joe Papick will be retiring this month. He
has been a longtime member of not only the Safety and Security Committee but also the
Transportation & Parking Advisory Committee. Both of these committees are extensions
of the Department of Public Safety. His dedication to the University of Houston has been
overwhelming. Specifically for the Department of Public Safety, Joe has been a voice of
reason and an outstanding representative for the entire staff, not just the staff members he
represents. Enjoy your retirement, Joe.
