January News!
New year new beginnings
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope you had a restful and blessed
Christmas season!

Congratulations to Saze and Marina for
receiving the virtue of Hope certificate for
the month of December

Our Christmas concert was a huge
success a round of applause to our
wonderful grade one singers!

It is cold outside, please continue to dress
your child warmly.

Please size your child’s footwear this
month to ensure they are wearing
comfortable slip-on indoor shoes.


Scholastic Book Club is an excellent resource
for providing your child with age appropriate
literature. Remember, when you buy these
great books we get books for our classroom!

Ensure your child completes their weekly word
work and snuggle up reading response. We
expect their word work is returned every Friday.
Their snuggle up book and reading response is
to be returned every Monday.
What your child will be learning in February:
Thank you for donating the tissue boxes,
we will gladly accept tissue box, toy,
board game or book donations
throughout the school year.



If you haven’t provided a set of ear buds
or headphones for your child please do
so in a labelled zip-lock bag.
Kindly check your child’s green mail bag
and sign their agenda daily.
Students are to return their library books
every Wednesday to Mrs. Hubur, our
Librarian. In the event that students
forget, they can bring in their library
books at any time and we will gladly
return them.
