JOB SUMMARY: Provide semi-routine clerical support services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.
Review reports on a daily basis to correct system generated errors and cashier
errors as well as provide work direction to assigned staff.
2.
Assist with the preparation of reports and bank deposits; assist with auditing
registration monies.

3.
Evaluate and isolate problems with pay manager based on policies and
procedures.

4.
Maintain and review departmental files and records.

5.
Answer telephone, take messages, route calls and follow-up, input
departmental data and keep records of cashier monies on a daily basis.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Tuition Supervisor
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide work direction to assigned staff.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Associate’s degree or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1.
Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of basic accounting principles; ability to analyze, isolate and
solve tuition related problems; and ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
2.
Equipment Used: Personal Computer, fax, telephone, copier, and other equipment
associated with an office environment.
3.
Software Used: A variety of word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, and
presentation software.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Duties require little physical effort in work with light (up to 10lbs), easy to handle materials.
Duties performed causes light fatigue of eyes, fingers, or other faculties due to long periods of
standing, sitting, and/or repetitive motion.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Alternative or combined skills in understanding, counseling, and/or influencing people are
important in achieving job objectives, causing action, understanding others, or changing behavior;
and, skills of persuasiveness or assertiveness, as well as sensitivity to the point of view of others.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Job is performed in general office or comparable working area with many and frequent
distractions such as noise, interruptions, or congested work areas with exposure to some
disagreeable elements.
