Proposal Summary
Explain the purpose for this proposal:
The purpose of this proposal is to update the contact hours, schedule type, content, corequisites, writing expectations, and instructor information to reflect the way it is being taught. The contact hours conform to the revised University guidelines
["One credit hour is awarded for a minimumthree clock hours (180 minutes) in a standard week of a 15-week semester, or for a minimum 45 clock hours (2,700minutes) in a semester"]. The 3-credit course involves 9 hours a week (135 a semester) of public school classroom teaching, which meets the University requirements. Additionally, the schedule type is listed as lecture but this fits the definition of a practicum-internship. The content is only revised (condensed) because of the character restrictions of the Course Catalog Update system - content is not changing.

Other Revisions: weekly contact hours, writing expectations, and instructor information. This is already designated as an ELR course - the system would not recognize this attribute (not diversity).
