Cooper Controls Expands its Greengate™ Digital Switch to
Accommodate All Greengate™ Lighting Control Panels
Simplify specification and installation with the one digital switch that is compatible with both LiteKeeper
and ControlKeeper lighting control panels.
PEACHTREE CITY, GA, November 13, 2012 – Cooper Controls, a market leader in energy
management, architectural and theatrical lighting controls, is pleased to announce that it has expanded
its Greengate Digital Switch (GDS) to accommodate all Greengate lighting control panels, including
LiteKeeper and ControlKeeper. This expanded compatibility enables GDS to be the wallstation solution
for outfitting large and small projects alike, further simplifying the specification and installation of a
Greengate lighting control system and providing a uniform aesthetic throughout the space.
The GDS is a decorator-style digital switch that offers ON/OFF control of any single relay or group of
relays in the Greengate lighting control network. Each wallstation contains up to six buttons and is
available in a variety of button configurations and colors.
Until now, GDS wallstations were only compatible with ControlKeeper lighting control panels. The
LiteKeeper lighting control panels have been updated to also provide GDS compatibility. Today, GDS
can be the wallstation solution for any project with a Greengate lighting system, regardless of size or
panel type.
This new solution simplifies specification and installation and creates a uniform aesthetic throughout a
project. Specifiers no longer need to mix and match control stations to panel types. If a Greengate
lighting system is specified, the GDS will control the Greengate panels on-site. Installers will only need
one type of wallstation for installation throughout the project. Once installed, all of the wallstations will
match, creating a pleasing and coordinated aesthetic throughout the space.
