Black History Month Black history has been recognized since 1926, beginning as Negro History Week and later as Black History Month which is celebrated during the month of February. Read and view material about the history and lives of AfricanAmericans such as Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Frederic Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Barack Obama and many more. Darwin Display at the Library February 12th will mark the 200 year anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin whose theory on natural selection is basis of evolution. To celebrate his contributions to the field of science, the Libraries has created a display in the lobby of Renne Library. Take some time and view this exhibit. Learn tips and tricks for more effective searching and how to find the full text. Feb. 25 - Navigating Word 2007 Learn some of the most useful MS Word 2007 commands for your citation and other research needs.
