Workshop Wednesdays @ Your Library
Sticking around for summer school? Then check out some of the workshops
scheduled for May and June. As always, they will be held from 12:00-12:50 in the
Library Classroom, which is located in the basement of Renne Library. For more

May 6: Podcasting -Learn to create your own podcasts. In this
workshop you will edit an audio recording using the free software,
Audacity.
May 13: Excel 2007 - Unravel the mysteries of Excel 2007. We will discuss where
many of the Excel features are now located in this new interface and learn how to set
up formulas, charts and more.
May 20: EndNote Web Basics - The free EndNote Web makes
formatting citations and managing bibliographies easy! Learn to
import records, add notes, correct and format records in any one of thousands of
citation styles.
May 27: EndNote Web Advanced - You have the basics, now let’s take it to the next
level. In this session, we will import references into Word and much more.
June 3: Word 2007 - Learn some of the most useful MS Word 2007 commands for
your citation and other research needs.
June 10 - No workshop scheduled.
June 17: Creative Commons - Let’s get creative. Did you know
there is a resource that allows you to appropriate music, video,
and images with little or no copyright restrictions? Join us to learn more about the
Creative Commons.
June 24: Delicious –Join us as we explore Delicious, a social bookmarking service
that allows you to create a profile so you can bookmark your favorite sites, share your
bookmarks with others, and set up RSS feeds to track websites on a particular topic.

Looking for some great books on fishing, Montana, American
history, Irish Literature and more at bargain basement prices?
Need some topographic maps for an upcoming hiking trip or
perhaps for an art or wallpaper project?
Then make sure to visit the Library on Friday, May 29th
from 12:00pm-5:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am -1:00pm
when we will be having our book sale.
Most items will be $2.00 each. Rare and collectible items
will be priced individually. Maps will be $.25 each or 5 for
$1.00.
