Question: Why did it take so long to renovate the basement restrooms? Can you

Answer: If you have been to the basement restrooms, you most likely have seen the
fabulous Pepto-Bismol pink and Baby Blue hue that was selected as our color
scheme. Those colors are not easy to come by and required us to time warp back to
the 1960s to get those exact shades. We ran into a few problems, yada, yada, yada
and it took 4 months to complete.

In actuality, while it may have seemed like an eternity, the basement restrooms took
no longer to renovate than the restrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
One thing to keep in mind: when you think of an academic enterprise --think tortoise
rather than cheetah.

Videos moved to the 1st Floor
The DVD and VHS film collection has moved
out of hiding in the basement to the southeast
corner of the 1st floor stacks. The collection is
constantly updated with new additions and
has recently incorporated many films from the
School of Film and Photography collection.
