Storm Water Services is currently reviewing the final design plans. The review should be complete in January 2012 at which time the bid phase will begin. The bid phase is typically a 5 month process where the lowest responsible bidder is selected to construct the project. construction at Barringer Drive near Clanton Park will affect traffic routes. Fees included funding of the Upper Stoney Creek Stream Restoration near Mallard Creek Church Road. In addition to reconstructing open channel areas, boulders and logs were added to reduce bank erosion during large storm events. The Upper Stoney Creek stream restoration project will improve water quality, enhance forested riparian areas and protect aquatic habitat.
