Dear Resident,
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services held the third
public meeting for the Conway/Briabend Storm Drainage
Improvement Project on January 29, 2009 at Grace United
Methodist Church.
The meeting presented the preliminary construction
drawings and initiated the easement acquisition phase.
Meeting highlights:

Jennifer Barker, Project Manager, discussed the
organization of the project team and provided a general
overview of the Storm Water Services Program.
Josh Letourneau, Project Manager for our design
consultant Armstrong Glen, presented the preliminary
design including locations and sizes of new storm drains
•
throughout the neighborhood. The plans are available to
homeowners by request from the Project Manager.
Julie Millea, Real Estate, discussed the acquisition process
and plans to meet with individual homeowners to review
the easement exhibits, discuss any concerns and answer
questions.
